MariGold Foods launched in September 2012 with a successful Kickstarter project. Since then, the company has been an H-E-B Quest for Texas Best finalist and received praise from customers and trainers all over the United States. Their line of protein bars are high in protein, low in sugar, completely non-GMO, gluten free, and contain zero artificial ingredients.
“We’re incredibly excited to launch the new product,” said owner Mari Ann Lisenbe. “The bars will be high in fat, but low in sugar, and we can’t wait to hear what our customers think about them.”
Currently, the company offers 17 flavors of bars, all with less than four grams of sugar and 20 plus grams of protein. The initial flavors of the new Fat Bombs will be White Chocolate Chia and Rocky Road.
The new product will be almond butter and collagen based. These non-sticky fat bomb flavors both have only one gram of sugar and contain less than three net carbs.
The new MariGold Fat Bombs will support joint health and smooth, youthful looking skin thanks to their collagen and vitamin C content. They’re also softer and less chewy than other MariGold products, and are 100% dairy-free.
“Fat bombs” are recipes originally created to support the Ketogenic diet. These high-fat, low-carb recipes are intended to induce ketosis, a state of starvation where the body burns fat rather than carbohydrates.
The new MariGold Fat Bombs are designed to fit with Keto diets, providing dieters with a convenient source of fat to sustain their energy levels and ketosis without requiring cooking or prep work.
