52 year old Mom and horse lover starts clothing line (just in time for Christmas) to help rescue horses and it’s called Black Beauty Originals.
And in doing so, she has turned the concept of retail sideways… Now when consumers make a purchase, they are helping make a difference by leveraging their purchase power with the power of beautiful clothes for a beautiful cause.
A portion of the proceeds of the sale of every cute t-shirt goes directly to the HorseCharitiesofAmerica.org.
The recent trend of offering a portion of sales to a worthy cause helps both entrepreneurs and consumers make a difference in the worlds ongoing challenges by choosing what they purchase and who they support. ~Adweek
Mary Bogdanski, the 52 year old Mom believes that this is all about courage, perseverance and hope for not only horses but people too.
She was motivated to start the line of clothing because of her passion for horses. She herself rescued 4 horses and 1 mini.
The clothing line includes 4 cute and fun designs with designs named after spiritual and natural symbols.
The line launched November 16th just in time for the gift giving holidays.
Available for women or men in different colors, sizes and styles including solid and dapple colors.
“All the dapple styled, rustic styled and tie dyed t shirts and sweat shirts get more appealing when the consumer realizes that a portion of the money they are spending is actually going to a good cause”. Said Mary Bogdanski, Chief Optimist and Goodwill Ambassador
The shirts are done in simple textile art but done with a beautiful, trendy fashion twist.
The name Black Beauty Originals was selected because of what Black Beauty represents in Anna Swells book Black Beauty… Representing courage, strength and hope for all horses that are abused, neglected and unwanted. Black Beauty Originals gives back.
According to Forbes, businesses who ignore this “evolved enterprise” trend will be on life support in 4-7 years.

It’s time for evolved entrepreneurs, visionary creators, and change makers to rewrite the rules of business for the 21st century.” Tony Hsieh, NY Times bestselling author of Delivering Happiness and CEO of Zappos.com
